About one third of all equipment acquired in the U.S. each year is financed on a lease contract. Last year that was well over $250 Billion worth of lease contracts. Over 80% of companies lease all or part of their equipment – and that includes almost all of the “Fortune 500” companies. Leasing is a great industry to be part of: Only one company has more than a 10% share of the market (they have 12%), so the industry is wide open. There is also plenty of money available to finance leases and a significant percentage of the sources of that funding work through lease brokers. As a lease broker, you will deal with business people. Much of the time they are independent entrepreneurs like yourself with the same burning desire for success and a willingness to embrace new ideas.

The Podium program is designed to provide everything a prospective lease broker needs, from complete training to processing and marketing support. With the Podium support system, one can literally submit an application, let us do the work and collect your commission - all while going out there and selling the next one. Plus, Podium offers a flexible, three tier business program and you may choose which program works best for you. Our business program tiers include:
- Tier One - Lease Broker Training: We will teach you how to structure your business, how to set and achieve your goals, help you create a winning plan, and show you how to target niche markets. We also train you in different financing options, how to present them to prospects, and how to structure transactions that will both earn you money and satisfy your clients. The investment in the course is $8,000. When you complete it, you will leave with the tools you need to start your new business.
- Tier Two - The Corporate ID Package: Podium will provide a “Corporate I.D.” design package for you that includes a custom logo design to distinguish you from your competition, a professionally written website with on line applications and inquiry forms, stationery and business cards. The base price of the Tier Two package is $3000. Additional content, flash, calculators and other features are available at a slight additional cost.
- Tier Three - Transaction Processing and Marketing Support Services: To be accepted into our tier three program, you must have attended a qualified lease broker course, or be an active broker for at least two years. In this tier, we provide complete processing support. You can literally submit an application, let us do the work and collect your commission – all while going out there and selling the next one. If you went out to hire this same talent, you’re looking at hiring at least three separate people with aggregate salaries well in excess of $100,000 a year. In addition, you have access to ongoing marketing and sales support to help you plan your target markets and future growth as well as assistance in structuring complex lease programs and closing sales. Cost of the Tier Three support program: $600 a month with a one year minimum term.
