HOMES & LAND RANKS WITHIN TOP 100 OF ENTREPRENEUR’S FRANCHISE 500®

Growth of Company Evident as it Consistently Climbs List Each Year

Tallahassee, FL (March 7, 2007) – Homes & Land today announced that it has been ranked within the top 20 percent of Entrepreneur magazine’s list of the top 500 franchises.  Homes & Land ranked in the number 95 position overall, and number two in the category of ‘Advertising Services.’  Placing within the top 20 percent of Entrepreneur’s list is indicative of Homes & Land’s financial stability and the growth of its franchise network.

“It is an honor to be part of the Entrepreneur Franchise 500®,” said Robert Wicker, Chief Marketing Officer, Homes & Land.  “Rising almost 100 positions from the magazine’s rankings last year is a testament to the quality of our affiliates and our company staff.  We are committed to future growth and to providing our customers with great advertising solutions.”

Entrepreneur offered the first ranking of franchises in 1980 with its initial Franchise 500®. Today the Franchise 500 is considered the world’s most comprehensive ranking of franchises.  Entrepreneur magazine judges all companies, regardless of size, by the same criteria. The most important factors include financial strength and stability, as well as growth rate and the size of the system. The magazine also considers the number of years in business and length of time franchising, startup costs, litigation, percentage of terminations and whether the company provides financing. Financial data is audited by an independent CPA. The objective factors are plugged into Entrepreneur’s exclusive Franchise 500® formula, with each eligible company receiving a cumulative score. The 500 franchises with the highest cumulative scores become the Franchise 500®.
