Out on the water and hungry?
May 13, 2008-Lake Gaston, North Carolina - Now you can get pizza between mile markers 9 and 10 from the Manny and Olga's Pizza Boat. Look for the yellow and red flags. Owner, Gary Bardwell recently announced that he has joined with South Shore Realty and Kidd Marina, of LaCrosse, Va. to take to the water to save Lake Gaston boaters from hunger. Stationed between mile markers 9 and 10, Bardwell and his crew will be providing the taste of Manny & Olga's weekdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and 5 to 8 p.m., and on weekends and holidays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The "Pizza Boat" will have hot, fresh Manny and Olga's pepperoni and cheese pizzas (whole pizza only) along with canned soda that you can purchase right off the boat.
With six franchised and three company-owned locations, Bobby Athanasakis is hoping the exposure in Reno, Nevada will catch the eye of quality oriented prospective franchise owners in the West Coast, and beyond.
