The Dwyer Group Sets Record Month for Franchise Sales
Company's service and repair brands award 42 franchises across America in March.
WACO, Texas - (March 31, 2009) - The Dwyer Group, a holding company for six residential and commercial franchise service brands, has set a new company record in franchise sales, awarding 42 new franchises for the month of March.
"This is a direct reflection of the strength of our brands," said Robert Tunmire, executive vice president of The Dwyer Group. "People across the country are looking for the best way to take control of their careers and their financial futures. And they are finding it with our franchise concepts and the chance to be their own boss."
The Dwyer Group includes a franchise network of more than 1,400 franchises around the world operating under the brands of Aire Serv Heating and Air Conditioning, Glass Doctor, Mr. Appliance, Mr. Electric, Mr. Rooter and Rainbow International. With service and repair trades experiencing strong demand across the U.S. and Canada, the franchise brands have answered the call in growing numbers to help homeowners and commercial business customers.
According to Tunmire, the newest franchise owners include people exiting big corporations, smaller service business owners converting their existing businesses into an independent franchise and entrepreneurs.
