PuroClean® Enhances Management and Development Team to Support Upsurge in 2009 Growth
Property Emergencies Franchise Hires CFO, 5th Development Director and Promotes Key Executive
Tamarac, FL - (June 2, 2009) - PuroClean, a property emergency services franchise that continues to experience unprecedented and consistent growth, announced today the addition of a new Chief Financial Officer, their fifth Franchise Development Director and the promotion of the Vice President of Marketing to support rapid expansion and increasing market demand.
"While others are downsizing, we're doing what we can just to keep up with the growth, both in franchise development and local market sales," said Keith Gerson, President and COO of PuroClean. "We promoted our proven marketing director to Vice President to lead our growing marketing team, hired a veteran CFO to enhance our financial systems and added to our very busy franchise development department to keep up with the demand for our recession proof franchise opportunity."
PuroClean opened 76 new franchise locations and grossed more than $68 million in revenues last year. Citing impressive sales gains of existing franchise locations of 19 percent from 2007 to 2008, PuroClean legally trade-marked the tagline, "the REAL Recession Proof Franchise." PuroClean also has a bright outlook for 2009, with goals to open 100 new franchise locations throughout the U.S. and Canada.
The following management team changes were made to proactively focus on continuous improvement of sales medians, marketing tools and training technology for new and existing franchisees:
- Veronica Paz, an accounting professional with experience in auditing, financial reporting and internal controls, has been appointed PuroClean's Chief Financial Officer. Paz has professional experience working with franchise organizations, including Trend Group USA, which makes her an ideal addition to PuroClean. She has an impressive educational background, which includes graduating with her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Management Cum Laude, as well as achieving her Masters Degree in Accounting. Paz is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Information Technology Professional, and is currently working on her Doctoral program in Business Administration at Nova Southeastern University.
- Lauren Johnson has been appointed the newest Franchise Development Director, increasing the sales team to five seasoned professionals. With over 12 years experience in sales, new business and specifically, franchise development, Lauren comes to PuroClean most recently from Navis Logistics Network, a $30M international packing and shipping with 73 franchise locations in the US and Canada, where she served as the Vice President of Franchise Development. Prior to her role at Navis, Lauren was the Vice President of Franchise Development for Maui Wowi Hawaiian.
- Marci Kleinsasser, an award-winning marketing leader with 20 years of proven success for start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, has been promoted to Vice President of Marketing. Her previous experience at franchise businesses including Coverall Cleaning Concepts, Benihana and Kenny Rogers Roasters coupled with her tremendous work at PuroClean for the past year launched Kleinsasser into the new position.
