First Meeting of the New England Women’s Franchise Business Network Held

Griffin Gallery at the Stoneham Theater in Stoneham Massachusetts held the first meeting of the New England Women’s Franchise Business Network. The event was sponsored by the Law Offices of Suzanne C. Cummings. Within the elegant surroundings of the gallery, forty people involved in the franchising community gathered to network. The event was primarily an opportunity to meet others and share similar concerns and ideas. From the buzz of the conversations, participants enjoyed the time to catch up and meet new faces.
One attendee mentioned, “I was pleasantly surprised by the intimacy of the event. I was able to have real conversations and did not feel pressed for time because of a dinner or speaker starting.” Another was grateful to connect with other new franchisors.
The format of the evening was planned by Suzanne Cummings of the Law Offices of Suzanne Cummings and Kim Woods of Franchise Solutions. Both women had a vision of planning several events a year to give the New England franchise community a place to network.
The Women’s Franchise Business Network is part of the International Franchise Association. The International Franchise Association, founded in 1960, is a membership organization of franchisors, franchisees, and suppliers. Its mission is to protect, enhance and promote franchising.
