Services Your Franchise Can Provide to Seniors

  1. Companion Care - A basic level of care where caregivers provide services such as companionship, meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, medication reminders and general assistance.
  2. Housekeeping - Housekeeping services including laundry, ironing, vacuuming, meal preparation, and dish washing, pet care and plant care.
  3. Personal Care - An advanced level of care, professional and experienced caregivers provide basic assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and ambulation assistance.
  4. Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care - work with families to create a customized care plan which may include cueing programs to stimulate memory, constant patient monitoring, administering and supervising medication, supervising daily activities, fostering supportive communication, and creating a warm, positive environment.
  5. Parkinson’s Care - a specialized training program created in conjunction with leading experts from the National Parkinson Foundation’s Center of Excellence. This program, the first of its kind in the in-home senior care industry, is designed to provide our caregivers with the expert training and education on how to handle the range of mobility and movement limitations experienced with Parkinson’s, manage medications, techniques, and strategies to manage motor and non-motor symptoms of the disease.
  6. Live-In Care - 24-hour coverage, as long as they can sleep for eight hours per night and receive appropriate breaks. Live-in care can be provided for a minimum of two consecutive days, up to seven days per week indefinitely.
  7. Transition Assistance - guided through the outpatient surgery and recovery period. We are available for help prior to surgery and will accompany a client each step of the way through full recovery, including transportation to follow-up doctor visits.
  8. Sitter Assistance - monitor clients in hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living centers, continuing care retirement communities, etc., to be there when the family cannot, and to ensure that our clients’ needs are met.
  9. Concierge Care - provide services and assistance to seniors living within assisted, independent and continuing care retirement communities. Services include move-in service, post-medical care, companion and personal care, fractional care, wait-list support, and more.
  10. Respite Care - care for a short period of time, such as vacations, so that those who are taking care of a family member can rest and take time to take care of themselves as well.
  11. Wellness Watch - semi-monthly visit which includes companion care services customized to meet the needs of a loved one. The family will receive a monthly report and access to quick-start home care.

Training and Support

The Senior Helpers comprehensive new owner training starts with a 10-day visit to our corporate headquarters where you will be working with our leadership and support team in our training facility. Beyond your initial start-up and opening phase, you will be working with a business development manager providing ongoing operational support and guidance. Our company culture focuses on continuing education for our corporate team as well as our franchise owners. You will be provided many additional resources to help support the growth of your business.
